To a solution of (5E)-4-amino-5-({1-[2,4-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzyl]piperidin-4-yl}methylidene)-1-methyl-1,5-dihydro-2H-imidazol-2-one (133 mg) in toluene (1 mL) was added propargylamine (843 mg) at room temperature. The reaction mixture was stirred at 100° C. overnight. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate/hexane) and recrystallized from ethyl acetate/heptane to give the title compound (87 mg).
