The title compound was prepared in an analogous manner to that described above in Example 4 using 2-fluoropyridin-3-ylboronic acid and 6-chloro-2-(trifluoromethyl)pyrimidin-4-amine (SynChem. Inc., Elk Grove Village, Ill.), and the desired product 6-(2-fluoropyridin-3-yl)-2-(trifluoromethyl)pyrimidin-4-amine was isolated as a white solid (34%). LCMS (API-ES) m/z 259 (M+H)+; 1H NMR (400 MHz, d6-DMSO) δ 8.57 (t, J=8.80 Hz, 1H) 8.38 (d, J=3.91 Hz, 1H) 7.83 (br. s., 2H) 7.46-7.63 (m, 1H) 7.15 (s, 1H).
