The title compound was prepared in an analogous manner to that described in Example 198 (Step 1) using 3-bromo-2-fluoro-6-methylpyridine (1.44 g, 7.58 mmol) (Waterstone Technology) and 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol. 1H NMR (400 MHz, d6-DMSO) δ 8.34 (1H, t, J=8.5 Hz); 7.34 (1H, d, J=7.9 Hz); 4.69 (2H, s); 4.22 (2H, q, J=9.5 Hz). m/z (ESI, +ve ion) 288/290 (M+H)+.
