1-Methyl-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole (78 mg, 0.37 mmol), 1M sodium carbonate (0.75 ml, 0.75 mmol) and tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) (25.9 mg, 0.02 mmol) were added to a solution of 5-bromo-2-{[(4-fluorophenyl)methyl]oxy}-N-3-pyridinylbenzamide (may be prepared as described in Example 59; 150 mg, 0.37 mmol) in 1,2-dimethoxyethane (4 ml). The reaction was heated at 120° C. for one hour. The solvent was removed in vacuo to give a residue. Purification by MDAP yielded the title compound as a white solid. 70 mg.
