Reaction Steps
1-{4′-[4-(biphenyl-3-yl-hydroxy-methyl)-3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl]-biphenyl-4-yl}-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid ethyl ester (1 equivalent) was dissolved in THF then EtOH and NaOH (3N aq., 3 equivalents) was added and the reaction stirred at 60° C. overnight. The reaction was worked up and purified via preparatory HPLC (0.1% TFA/H2O/ACN).
