Reaction Steps
4-Bromo-2-fluorobenzaldehyde and ethyl thioglycolate were treated in a manner similar to Reference Example 31-(1) to give 6-bromo-2-ethoxycarbonylbenzo[b]thiophene as a colorless solid.
