6-Chloro-7-(4-(6-(4-chlorophenyl)-5-fluoropyridin-2-ylcarbamoyl)phenoxy)-chroman-4-carboxylic acid (16.1 mg, 0.0291 mmol) was dissolved in MeOH-THF (0.5 mL-0.5 mL) and 0.5 M sodium methoxide solution in methanol (58.19 μl, 0.0291 mmol) was added. The mixture was stirred at ambient temperature for 1 hour and concentrated. The residue was chased with dichloromethane multiple times and dried under high vacuum to provide 17.0 mg of the title compound as white solid (101.6%). MS (apci) m/z=553.0 (M+2H—Na).
