Procedure

To a solution of 6-chloro-7-(4-(6-(2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)pyridazin-3-ylcarbamoyl)phenoxy)chroman-4-carboxylic acid (0.030 g, 0.050 mmol) in MeOH (2 ml) was added a 0.5M solution of sodium methoxide in methanol (0.099 ml, 0.050 mmol), and the reaction was stirred for 2 hours. The reaction was concentrated to yield the desired compound (0.030 g, 0.048 mmol, 96% yield). MS (apci) m/z=603.9 (M-Na+2H).
