To a solution of 6-chloro-7-(4-(6-(2-fluoro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)pyridazin-3-ylcarbamoyl)phenoxy)chroman-4-carboxylic acid (0.071 g, 0.12 mmol) in 1:1 THF/methanol (2 ml) was added a 0.5M solution of sodium methoxide in methanol (0.24 ml, 0.12 mmol), and the reaction was stirred at ambient temperature for 2 hours. The reaction was concentrated to yield the desired compound (0.071 g, 0.12 mmol, 96% yield). MS (apci) m/z=588.0 (M-Na+2H).
