Reaction Steps
Following the procedure described for Intermediate 60, (2-chloro-8-methyl-quinolin-3-yl)methanol (200 mg, 0.97 mmol) and morpholine (2 mL) gave the title compound (200 mg, 80%). δH (CDCl3) 7.99 (1H, s), 7.57 (1H, d, J=8.1 Hz), 7.48 (1H, d, J=7.0 Hz), 7.35-7.26 (1H, m), 4.87 (2H, s), 3.93 (4H, t, J=4.6 Hz), 3.58 (1H, s), 3.35 (4H, t, J=4.6 Hz), 2.72 (3H, s).
