This compound was prepared according to the procedure C from methyl [2-methyl-4-(4-trifluoromethoxyphenyl)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro[1]benzothieno[2,3-b]pyridin-3-yl]acetate (0.233 g; 0.57 mmol), LHMDS 1N in THF (0.85 mL; 0.85 mmol), 1-iodopropane (0.111 mL; 1.14 mmol) in DMF (2.8 mL) for 18 h. Purification by flash chromatography on silica gel using a gradient of ethyl acetate (3-50%) in heptane furnished 0.129 g (50%) of the title compound as a yellow oil.
