This compound was prepared according to the procedure C from methyl [2-methyl-4-(2-fluorophenyl)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro[1]benzothieno[2,3-b]pyridin-3-yl]acetate (0.320 g; 0.86 mmol), LHMDS 1N in THF (1.29 mL; 1.29 mmol), 1-iodopropane (0.168 mL; 1.72 mmol) in DMF (4.3 mL) for 18 h. Purification by flash chromatography on silica gel using a gradient of ethyl acetate (2-40%) in heptane furnished 0.266 g (75%) of the title compound as a yellow oil.
