Reaction Steps
Following the general procedure using 2-bromonaphthalene (103 mg, 0.50 mmol) and 1-ethynylcyclohex-1-ene (100 μL, 0.85 mmol), the reaction was stirred for 21 h at rt. Column chromatography on silica gel (eluting with 1% EtOAc/hexanes) afforded the product as an off-white solid (115 mg, 99%).
