Reaction Steps
Following the general procedure using 4-bromoanisole (60 mg, 0.48 mmol) and 6-chloro-1-hexyne (90 μL, 0.74 mmol), the reaction was stirred for 25 h at rt. Column chromatography on silica gel (eluting with 1% EtOAc/hexanes) afforded the product as a pale yellow oil (70 mg, 66%).
