Reaction Steps

To a 100 ml flask was (S)-tert-butyl 3-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-oxo-1-(3-(pyridin-4-yl)isoxazol-5-ylamino)propan-2-ylcarbamate TFA salt 3.2.B (620 mg, 0.54 mmole), 10 ml of CH2Cl2, and 10 ml of TFA. The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 4 hours at which time the solvent was removed to give (S)-2-amino-3-(4-fluorophenyl)-N-(3-(pyridin-4-yl)isoxazol-5-yl)propanamide diTFA salt 3.2.C as a light yellow solid (600 mg, 74% yield).
