Using methyl 3-[4-methoxy-3-[N-[[4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]methyl]carbamoyl]phenyl]-2,2-dimethylpropanoate (300 mg, 0.708 mmol; Example 47), ethanol (5 ml) and 10% aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide (2 ml) and conducting the procedure similar to Example 22, 206 mg (90%) of the title compound were obtained as colorless crystals.
