To a suspension of 3-[7-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-4-oxo-4,5-dihydro-3H-benzo [b][1,4]diazepin-2-yl]-thiobenzamide (Example 149) (97 mg, (0.25 mmol) in ethanol (5 mL) was added chloroacetone (0.1 mL, 1.25 mmol) and the mixture was heated at reflux. After 1 h and after 5 h of heating, more chloroacetone (2 times 0.1 mL, 1.25 mmol) was added. After 20 h the mixture was cooled to 0° C. and stirred for 0.5 h, and the title compound was isolated by filtration as light yellow solid (61 mg).
