Procedure
To a solution of Example 280 compound (500 mg, 1.26 mmol) in MeOH/THF (1:1)(30 mL) at 0° C. was added sodium borohydride (48 mg, 1.26 mmol). The reaction was stirred at 0° C. for 2 hours then warmed to RT overnight. Acetic acid was added to quench the reaction until the reaction was pH 6 by pH paper. The resulting mixture was evaporated to dryness. Ethyl ether (200 mL) was added to the residue, and the organic layer was washed with water (2×50 mL), saturated sodium bicarbonate solution (2×50 mL), brine (2×50 mL) and dried over MgSO4. Evaporation gave title compound (355 mg, 71%) as a crude oil.
