Reaction Steps
An oily product (4.3 g), which was prepared from 2.67 g of 3-oxo-2-phenylisoindoline-1-acetic acid and 1.94 g of 1-benzylpiperazine in the same manner as Example 3, was dissolved in 4 ml of methanol, and to this solution a solution of 1.5 g of oxalic acid dihydrate in 6 ml of methanol was added, and the crystals precipitated were collected by filtration.
