Procedure
The title B compound of Example 1 (1 g, 2.0 mmol) in acetonitrile (7 ml) was cooled to 0° C. under argon and was treated with methylhydrazine (0.125 mL, 3.2 mmol). The reaction turned yellow instantaneously and a light yellow solid precipitated out. The reaction was allowed to stir at room temperature for 45 minutes and the solid was then filtered off and washed with acetonitrile to provide the title compound (620 mg) as a light yellow solid, m.p. 255°-256° C.
