The title compound was prepared from (R)-2-methyl-propane-2-sulfinic acid [1-(4-bromo-3-methyl-phenyl)-ethylidene]-amide following a procedure analogous to that described in Step 2 of Intermediate 1. LC-MS (Method 5): tR=4.04 min; Mass spectrum (ESI+): m/z=318/320 (Br) [M+H]+.
