The title compound was prepared from (R)-2-methyl-propane-2-sulfinic acid [(S)-1-(4-bromo-3-methyl-phenyl)-ethyl]-amide following a procedure analogous to that described in Step 3 of Intermediate 1. LC-MS (Method 4): tR=3.56 min; Mass spectrum (ESI+): m/z=214/216 (Br) [M+H]+.
