To a solution of 45 mg (0.12 mmol) of the product from Step H in 0.37 ml of dry DMSO was added 7.3 mg (0.15 mmol) of lithium azide. The solution was stirred at room temperature under N2 for 4.5 hours. After flash chromatography on silica gel (elution with 10:1 hexane-EtOAc), 33 mg (83%) of the title compound was obtained as a gum; satisfactory purity by TLC in 4:1 hexane-EtOAc.
