Procedure
From 190 mg of methyl,(E)-p-[2-(p-amidinobenzamido)ethyl]-β-methylcinnamate there were obtained after hydrogenation in methanol in the presence of 10% Pd/C under atmospheric pressure at room temperature after 24 hours 113 mg of crystalline acetate of methyl rac-p-[2-(p-amidinobenzamido) ethyl]-β-methyl-hydrocinnamate.
