Reaction Steps

Heat a sealed tube containing 3-(2-bromo-4-trifluoromethyl-thiazol-5-yl)-7-(1-ethyl-propyl)-2,5-dimethyl-pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (313 mg, 0.7 mmol), and dimethyl amine (2 M in THF, 4 mL, 8 mmol) in methanol (4 mL) to 80° C. for 2 h. Cool the reaction and concentrate under vacuum. Purify the resulting residue by silica gel chromatography, eluting with 0-30% ethyl acetate in CH2Cl2, to give the title compound (0.28 g, 97%). HR-ToF-MS m/z calcd for C19H24F3N5S+H+ 412.1770, found: 412.1783.
