To a solution of 5-(5-(3-(5-chloro-2,3-dihydrospiro[indene-1,3′-pyrrolidine]-1′-yl)propylthio)-4-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)-2,4-dimethylthiazole (E3, 57 mg, 0.12 mmol) in Et2O (3 ml) and methanol (0.5 ml), 10 ml of HCl/Ether (1M in Et2O) were added, the solvent was evaporated in vacuo and treated with Et2O to give 50 mg of the title compound (y=82%).
