To a solution of 5-(5-(3-(5-fluoro-2,3-dihydrospiro[indene-1,3′-pyrrolidine]-1′-yl)propylthio)-4-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)-2,4-dimethylthiazole (Prep18, 38 mg) in a mixture of Et2O (3 ml) and methanol (0.5 ml) was added 0.1 ml of HCl/Ether (1M in Et2O), the solvent was evaporated in vacuo and treated with Et2O (5 ml) to give 30 mg of the title compound (y=73%).
