Reaction Steps

To a stirred solution of 83.28A (0.410 g, 1 mmol) in MeOH (5 mL) at 23° C. was added palladium on carbon (0.1 g, 1 mmol). The reaction was placed under an atmosphere of hydrogen and stirred for 18 hours. The reaction mixture was then filtered and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo. The product was purified on silica gel (0-10% EtOAc in hexanes) to yield 83.28B as a colorless oil (0.410 g, 99% yield).
