Procedure
To a suspension of 8.00 g of the compound obtained in Step 53-1 in MeOH (400 ml) was added an aqueous solution of 1.3 mol/L NaOH, and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 13 hours. The reaction solution was concentrated, under ice cooling, 3 mol/L hydrochloric acid was added until it became acidic. The obtained suspension was ultrasonicated for one hour, then, the insoluble matter was collected by filtration to obtain 7.31 g of the title compound (pale yellow solid).
