Reaction Steps
In analogy to example 10, step 3, N-[5-(3-methanesulfonyl-phenyl)-thiophen-2-ylmethyl]-2-trifluoromethyl-benzenesulfonamide (example 27, step 1) was reacted with iodomethane and cesium carbonate in N,N-dimethylacetamide to give N-[5-(3-methanesulfonyl-phenyl)-thiophen-2-ylmethyl]-N-methyl-2-trifluoromethyl-benzenesulfonamide as a light yellow semi-solid. MS: 506.9 ([M+H]+)
