To a mixture of 6-butyl-2-methyl-5-{[2′-(5-oxo-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl)biphenyl-4-yl]methyl}-3-(pyrazin-2-ylmethyl)pyrimidin-4(3H)-one (0.4 g) and ethyl acetate (10 mL) was added 4 M hydrochloric acid-ethyl acetate (0.22 mL) at room temperature. The obtained crystallized product was collected by filtration to give the title compound as colorless crystals (0.37 g, 86%).
