Compound 122 (51.5 g) was suspended in methanol (150 mL). A solution of acetyl chloride (3 eq.) in methanol was added to the suspension. The reaction mixture was heated at 50° C. for 3 hrs. The reaction mixture was concentrated at 45-50° C. and co-evaporated with DCM to give compound 123 (42.4 g) as a white powder in 102% yield due to DCM.
