2-Methoxy-1-[2-(3,4,5-trimethoxy-phenyl)-5H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyrazin-7-yl]-ethanone was prepared starting from 7-iodo-5-triisopropylsilanyl-2-(3,4,5-trimethoxy-phenyl)-5H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyrazine and 2,N-dimethoxy-N-methyl-acetamide (Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 47(10), 2405-2408; 2004) following general procedures as described in these Examples, to afford a pale yellow solid. MP 229-230° C., M+H=358.
