In analogy to Example 3a 6,7-dihydro-5H-imidazo[1,5-a]pyridin-8-one [426219-51-4] and phenylmagnesium bromide solution [100-58-3] (1M in tetrahydrofuran) are reacted. The title compound is obtained as a beige solid. Rt=4.10 (Gradient 1).
