To dry EtOH (1 mL) was added cyanogen bromide (0.104 mL, 0.52 mmol, 5M in MeCN) followed by sodium carbonate (96 mg, 0.91 mmol). [2-(4-[1,3]Dioxolan-2-yl-phenyl)-3-phenyl-[1,6]naphthyridin-5-yl]-hydrazine (3-4, 100 mg, 0.26 mmol) was added and the mixture was stirred for 3 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the resulting solid was used without further purification. LRMS m/z (M+1) Calcd: 410.2. Found 410.1.
