17 g (0.1 mol) of allylacetoacetic acid ethyl ester were added to a mixture of 20.5 g of α-methyl-3,4-dichorobenzylhydrazine and 30 ml of absolute ethanol under nitrogen, whereupon the temperature rose to 55° C. The reaction mixture was heated to the reflux temperature for 2 hours. After cooling, the reaction product crystallized out
