The reaction procedure of Example 59 (2) was repeated except that N-(6-chloro-3-pyridyl)-N-ethyl-N'-methylthiourea was used in lieu of N-(6-chloro-3-pyridyl)-N-methyl-N'-methylthiourea to give S-methyl-N-(6-chloro-3-pyridyl)-N-ethyl-N'-methylisothiourea as a pale yellow oil.
