Reaction Steps
This compound is prepared by the procedure described in step B of EXAMPLE 68 from 1.85 g of 4-(N'-methylureido)-4-phenylpiperidine (free base), 0.44 ml of acetic acid and 26 ml of MeOH, and then 2.75 g of the compound obtained in step A of EXAMPLE 68 in 26 ml of MeOH and 0.55 g of sodium cyanoborohydride in 26 ml of MeOH. This gives 2 g of the expected product.
