Reaction Steps
A solution of tert-butyl 4-((N,2-dimethylpyrazine-3-carboxamido)methyl)thiazol-2-ylcarbamate (1.30 g, 3.6 mmol) in dioxane (10 mL) was treated with 4N HCl in dioxane (10 mL) for 2 hours. The resulting suspension was concentrated in vacuo to afford N-((2-aminothiazol-4-yl)methyl)-N,3-dimethylpyrazine-2-carboxamide (1.10 g).
