The title material was prepared as described for the synthesis of 2-phenyl-2-o-tolylethanamine (Example FF) in using (2-(methoxymethoxy)phenyl)(phenyl)methanone. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ ppm: 6.88-7.44 (9H, m), 5.16-5.18 (1H, m), 5.09-5.15 (2H, m), 3.41-3.46 (2H, m), 3.21-3.23 (3H, m).
