Reaction Steps
(R)-3-{2-[3-Cyclopentyl-2-(4-methanesulfonyl-phenyl)propionylamino]-thiazol-5-ylsulfanyl}-propionic acid ethyl ester was prepared from (R)-3-cyclopentyl-2-(4-methanesulfonylphenyl)propionic acid and 3-(2-aminothiazol-5-ylsulfanyl)-propionic acid ethyl ester as described in Example 1. 1H_NMR (CD3OD): δ 7.92 (d, 2H), 7.67 (d, 2H), 7.40 (s, 1H), 4.08 (q, 2H), 3.96 (t, 1H), 3.09 (s, 3H), 2.92 (t, 2H), 2.57 (t, 2H), 2.21 (m, 1H), 1.88-1.48 (m, 8H), 1.22-1.17 (m, 5H); HPLC-MS: m/z: 511 (M+1).
