Reaction Steps
The title compound is prepared according to Method E followed by treating the corresponding propionic ester derivative for 1 h at rt with 1 N aq. NaOH in methanol starting from 4-ethyl-5-formyl-thiophene-2-carboxylic acid and 3-[2-ethyl-4-(N-hydroxycarbamimidoyl)-6-methyl-phenyl]-propionic acid ethyl ester; LC-MS: tR=0.87 min; [M+1]+=399.20.
