Reaction Steps

By using methyl 2-(3-fluoro-4-formylphenyl)propionate (1.05 g) obtained in Example 58 and 3-oxothiolane (1.02 g), the title compound (770 mg, 52%) was obtained in the same manner as that of Example 1.
