Prepared as in Example 10-65 from 4-(1-((3,5-dimethylisoxazol-4-yl)methyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-1-methyl-1,2,4-triazolidine-3,5-dione (example 10-64) and (2-bromoethoxy)benzene. Yield: 20%. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 400 MHz): δ2.13 (s, 3H), 2.40 (s, 3H), 3.15 (s, 3H), 3.99 (t, J=4.4 Hz, 2H), 4.13 (t, J=4.8 Hz, 2H), 5.20 (s, 2H), 6.80 (d, J=8 Hz, 2H), 6.90 (t, J=7.1 Hz, 1H), 7.22 (t, J=8 Hz, 2H), 7.75 (s, 1H), 8.17 (s, 1H). The title compound was shown to inhibit hT2R08 bitter receptor and had an IC50 of 0.031 μM.
