Reaction Steps
N-(5,5-Dimethyl-8-nitro-2-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-1-benzazepin-3-yl)-acetamide was prepared from 3-Amino-5,5-dimethyl-8-nitro-1,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1-benzazepin-2-one and acetic anhydride in an analogous manner to Example 1271d as a white solid. (420 mg, 90%), HPLC 99% purity, HNMR (DMSO) 10.21 (s, 1H), 8.14 (d, J=7.8 Hz, 1H), 7.99 (d, J=8.6 Hz, 1H), 7.84 (s, 1H), 7.69 (d, J=8.7 Hz, 1H), 4.28-4.21 (m, 1H), 2.23-2.17 (m, 1H), 2.02-1.95 (m, 1H), 1.81 (s, 3H), 1.45 (s, 3H), 1.32 (s, 3H).
