Using an analogous procedure to that described in Example 1, 2-[4-(6,7-dimethoxyquinazolin-4-yloxy)phenyl]acetic acid was reacted with 3-dimethylaminomethylaniline to give the title compound in 86% yield; 1H NMR: (DMSOd6) 2.14 (s, 3H), 3.35 (s, 2H), 3.68 (s, 2H), 3.97 (s, 3H), 3.99 (s, 3H), 6.96 (d, 1H), 7.24 (m, 1H), 7.26 (d, 2H), 7.39 (s, 1H), 7.44 (d, 2H), 7.53 (d, 1H), 7.55 (d, 1H), 7.58 (s, 1H), 8.53 (s, 1H), 10.19 (s, 1H); Mass Spectrum: M+H+ 473.
