To a solution of 1-methyl-5-(5-methyl-3-pyridin-2-yl-isoxazol-4-ylmethoxy)-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid methyl ester (80 mg, 0.24 mmol) and L-alaninol (24 mg, 0.32 mmol) in toluene (1 mL) was added 1,5,7-triazabicyclo[4.4.0]dec-5-ene (14 mg, 0.1 mmol) and the reaction was stirred at room temperature under argon overnight. The mixture was evaporated and purification by chromatography (silica, dichloromethane:methanol=100:0 to 9:1) afforded the title compound (87 mg, 96%) which was obtained as a colorless oil. MS: m/e=372.2 [M+H]+.
