Reaction Steps
4-Amino-2-methyl-2H-pyrazole-3-carboxamide (35 mg) is introduced into dichloromethane (1 ml) and dimethylacetamide (0.5 ml), and triethylamine (50 microlitres) and 4-dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP) (spatula tip) and 2-(2,3-dihydro-1-benzofuran-5-yl)-1,3-thiazole-4-carbonyl chloride CAS 306936-10-7 (66 mg) are added, and the mixture is left to stir at room temperature for 18.5 h. The solvent is then removed in vacuo, and preparative HPLC results in Example 2.1 as a white solid (35 mg).
