Reaction Steps
A solution of Example 5B (0.58 mmol) in THF (10 mL) was treated with 1M LiOH (30 mL), stirred for 12 hours, heated at 70° C. for 8 hours then cooled, stirred at ambient temperature for 2 days, heated at 70° C. for 8 hours then cooled, treated with 10% citric acid, and filtered.
