This acid (21) was prepared from 4-n-hexylbenzoic acid (18, 72.34g, 0.28 mol) in a manner similar to the procedure described for cis-4-n-butylcyclohexane-carboxylic acid (9) in Example II, preparation 1, in an overall yield of 80% of (47.6g).
